Is this suitable for children
The workshops are aimed at adults, but can be experienced by children aged 10 and over as long as they are attending with a participating adult.
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials are provided in the classes. You may want to wear an old shirt or apron over the top to prevent paint/ink staining your clothes. We encourage you to bring an image of your favourite landscape to the Landscape Painting workshop, and designs for the Printmaking workshop.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Both the Waitakere Arts Studio and on-site public toilets are wheelchair accessible. You can drive to and park to both areas. However, there is a ramp between the Studio and the toilets.
Is there a cafe onsite?
Yes, there is a fantastic cafe on site which offers beautiful food, treats and coffee, which closes at 3pm. Ideal for a lunch prior to the class.
How do I get to the Studio?
The Studio is next door to the Homestead Gallery and faces the railway tracks, but is situated behind the main Corban Estate Arts Buildings, which requires you to drive in a big loop. You can drive directly to the Studio and park outside. Follow the signs to the Homestead Gallery OR follow the directions that will be included in your confirmation email.
